We are pushing the boundaries of opera with Resonance, an opportunity for artists to find new ways of working, and audiences to enjoy cutting-edge work.

This project uses every art form in opera to create a fusion of music, image and performance. From music and voice, to the written word, Resonance brings together artists from different media to create experimental new work, and past Resonance collaborations have created astonishing results.

As well as encouraging artists, musicians and creative technicians to collaborate, Resonance also acts as a forum for learning and debate. We have developed an active laboratory for academic research and provide learning resources for artists to explore their fresh ideas.
