Student placements and internships

Students acquire hands-on experience of working at the heart of an opera company, which enhances academic study and increases student employability:-

• Students from a broad spectrum of academic disciplines have experienced four-week placements in a range of Opera North departments. To date, these include Chorus and Orchestra; Costume; Education; Public Relations; Fundraising; Events; Stage Management; Howard Assembly Room; Arts Administration; Marketing; Projects; and Library
• 20-day internships have been completed or are underway in the General Director's office, in the Education department and with the DARE project manager.
