The Pettman Dare International Performance Scholarship (PDIPS)
This ground-breaking scholarship awards promising young practitioners in music theatre in New Zealand the opportunity to benefit from a bespoke programme of practical experience and academic development in the UK designed to support their ambition for a successful career in their chosen artistic field, particularly opera.

This is a DARE programme with partners The NBR New Zealand Opera and the University of Canterbury in Christchurch.

The Scholarship is fully funded through the generous support of Professor Barrie and Mrs Maureen Pettman, through the Opera North Future Fund
