More than a partnership between two institutions, DARE is a vehicle through which multiple sectors, organisations, audiences and individuals can share ideas, initiatives and benefit.
In 2016 DARE hosted the launch of Culture Forum North in the Howard Assembly Room and continues to project lead this network of partnerships between Higher Education and the cultural sector across the north of England.
We, together with over 60 partner universities and cultural organisations, share knowledge, experience and expertise on how, by working together, we can lead cultural thought, learning and practice.
Like DARE, Culture Forum North focuses on the three themes of Skills Development, Research and Public Engagement. We share on-line case studies, hold Forum symposia and workshops, and commission relevant programmes of work.
The Forum was created with the support of Arts Council England.
